Help Us Improve the Chlamy Reference Annotations

Have you identified a novel function or feature of a Chamy gene? Have you noticed errors in the structural annotation of a gene you are studying? Have you published a paper recently that sheds new light on a Chlamy gene, or a few?

We are interested in updates to the functional annotations, such as:

– knock outs of Chlamy gene CreXX.gYYYYYY have the following phenotype…

– we have evidence that the protein expressed from gene CreXX.gYYYYYY translocates to the plastid where it forms a complex with two other Chlamy proteins as follows…

– we have just published a paper (PMID:XXXXXXX) that shows that CreXX.gYYYYYY encodes a transcription factor that regulates the expression of genes involved in the such-and-such pathway…

We are also interested in updates and corrections to the structural annotations, such as:

– the gene model for CreXX.gYYYYYY is incomplete based on our Iso-Seq data

– there is a missing (unannotated) gene on chrXX adjacent to CreXX.gYYYYYY
